Junior Release Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Release Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the release management team, you will assist in driving the release process for our company's products, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Key Responsibilities:

Release Process Support: Assist in driving the release process across company products, ensuring adherence to established procedures and timelines.

Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication regarding release status between internal stakeholders and clients.

Hotfix and Change Management: Maintain the delivery of hotfixes and changes to production environments, following established change management processes.

Production Deployment Participation: Participate in production deployment activities, ensuring smooth and successful releases.

Incident Resolution Support: Assist in driving the resolution of release-related incidents, working closely with development and operations teams.

Documentation Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date release and change documentation, contributing to knowledge sharing.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve release processes and contribute to the development of best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of software development and release processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of change management principles.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with release management tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Experience with working in a remote team environment.
